When you submit an enquiry, a member of the Historycanvasx team responds within one working day — not an automated acknowledgement, but a named reply from someone who has read your message and can speak to your specific situation. If your enquiry is about a specific listing, we'll confirm availability and propose two or three viewing times. If it's about a valuation or a consulting engagement, we'll schedule the intake consultation within the same week where possible. We ask that you include as much detail as you're comfortable sharing about your property, your timeline, and your objective — it means the first conversation is substantive rather than introductory.

Is the initial consultation free?
Yes. The first 45-minute intake consultation — whether in our Nkrumah Road office or over video call — is free of charge. We use it to understand your situation and tell you honestly whether we're the right fit for what you need. No commitment is required at the end of it.
I'm currently outside Kenya — can you still help me?
Absolutely. Around 30% of our active clients are diaspora buyers or investors based outside Kenya. We run consultations over video call, provide documentation digitally, and can arrange physical representation at the property for inspections. The only step that requires someone on the ground is the property handover — we coordinate that with a trusted local representative if needed.
How quickly can you value my property?
For a standard residential property in Mombasa or the immediate suburbs, we can complete an in-person inspection and deliver a written valuation report within five working days of your instruction. More complex properties — large plots, mixed-use buildings, or properties with unresolved title queries — may take seven to ten working days.
